DLP5530Q1EVM: DLP5530Q1EVM and Cheetah suddenly stopped working

Hi Team,

Our customer is using DLP5530Q1EVM and Cheetah for a few months then it suddenly stopped working. He is running DLPC230 Control program 1.8 Build 1242 in a Windows 10 PC. Please refer to the error message in the screenshot below. He had followed the instructions at Section 2 of the User's Guide but the problem still persists. Do you have any suggestions to diagnose the problem with the modules?

    This error message indicates an issue with the connection from the Cheetah to the DLPC230. We have recently seen that there is some inconsistency with the cable that connects the Cheetah SPI Adapter to the Formatter/Controller Board connector. This cable is very sensitive to it's positioning.

    As a next step in the debug, I would recommend that the customer tries different cable positioning and cycling power / trying to reconnect with the Control Program. 

    In the meantime, please reach out to me directly via email and we will continue the debug offline and potentially set up a conference call / live debug as needed.
