DLP4710EVM-LC: DLPC3479 boot-up without DLPA3005

The DLPC3479 chipset requires either the DLPA3000 or the DLPA3005 PMIC to function.  However, it is possible to use alternative illumination sources with the chipset while keeping the DLPA3005 configuration. For example, an alternative firmware available on the DLP Pico FW Selector tool enables single-LED channel operation (RED Only) http://software-dl-stage.itg.ti.com/dlp/pico-fw-selector/index.html

You may be able to repurpose this firmware if you wish to use a single-channel illumination source of your choosing (by driving it through the red LED channel).

another question is, DLP Pico FW Selector offers RED only firmware, is it suitable for DLPC3479 internel 1-D pattern mode?

datasheet says "Blue LED is configured to be ON for each pattern." Internel 1-D pattern mode can be configed to Red channel?

the RED only firmware is suitable for internal pattern mode 

for 1-D internal pattern mode you can select R,G,B or RGB illumination.
