Good day!

Our customer use the DLPC3479 &DLPA3005 in their application , they order the DLP4710EVM-LC to test the firmware , everything is OK , but when design their own board , the DLP do not work , they think their design may have some error there and need us to help them to review the schematic

    Hello Leon,

    Could you please describe the failure? The system does boot or it boots up but no image.

    The DLP firmware checks that valid commination of DMD , PMIC is are connected. It also checks if LED are connected. It will not boot if any of the connection is loose. If you tyr to run the firmware on board without optical engine connected, it will not boot.

    The DLP firmware has several configuration options. Could you please the following details about their board:

    1. DLP controller -0 DLPC3479 ;     I2C address :??

    2. PMIC IC - DLPA3005

    3. DMD - ?;          Pin option :? 

    4.

    Are they using RBG LED.

    Please suggest them toi refer to the firmware selector tool to download correct version of firmware based on their design configuration.
