Hi,
I have the same problem that this article mentions about erasing the flash memory.
Is there a solution?

Yuta-san,
Could you please confirm that you are using DLPLCR4500 EVM?

Could you please describe your problem in detail?

Hello Vivek,
Thank you for your reply!
Yes, I am using the DLPLCR4500 EVM.
When I tried to update the firmware by energizing J18, it failed or stopped responding, so I am trying to access it using JTAG Flash Programmer.
However, when I press the Erase button, it becomes like this and stops responding.
Here are the results of the Verify button and the Flash Info button.
If there is anything I can do, I would appreciate it if you could let me know.
Best Regards,
Yuta
Yuta,
Your summary is a bit confusing, as it is not normally necessary to use J18 (putting the system in bootloader mode) to update the flash firmware. However, if the firmware is corrupted then bootloader mode is necessary to reflash the device over JTAG.
When using the JTAG approach above, make sure you keep J18 energized as this is necessary to stay in bootloader mode.
There is more information on how to reflash with JTAG in this thread:
I hope this helps.
