DLP4500: We are developing our own driver board based on the DLP4500 EVM with reduced interfaces: Are there problems visible with our configuration?

Part Number: DLP4500
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DLPC350

Regarding the interfaces we want to use for displaying in pattern sequence mode, me made the following simplifications:

  1. Reset button
  2. Power connector
  3. External trigger output connector:
  4. USB connector: USB cable to connect to a PC.
  5. UART/RS232 mini-plug connector output
  6. External trigger Input connector:
  7. 7. Stand-by switch: Places the DLP LightCrafter 4500 in standby mode, powering down the LED driverand the DLPC350Flat panel display-link connector
  1. Fan connector
  2. Red LED supply connector (bottom of the board)
  3. DLPC350 I2C1 bus
  4. DLPC350 I2C0 bus
  5. Green LED supply connector
  6. Blue LED supply connector
  7. External LED driver connector:
  8. System board connector:
  9. Focus control (bottom of the board): Adjust focus from 0.5 m to infinity
  10. JTAG connector for DLPC350
  11. JTAG Boundary Scan for DLPC350 (bottom of the board)
  12. DVI input through mini-HDMI connector (bottom of the board).
