DLPLCRC410EVM: How to achieve high-speed refresh rates

Part Number: DLPLCRC410EVM
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DLPLCR70EVM, DLP7000

Dear Sir

I have purchased a DLPLCRC410EVM.
How can I achieve the "Fast binary pattern refresh rates up to 32 kHz" described in the attached picture?
I can't get the above specs from the factory, so please could you tell me how to achieve the above specs?

  • Hello,

Your name is not coming through the E2E thread. Please share your name so that we can address you professionally in the future.

The 32kHz rate is achieved by coupling the DLPLCRC410EVM with the DLPLCR70EVM. This EVM has the DLP7000 DMD, which has ~800,000 micromirrors.

To achieve the high frame rate, you will need an Apps FPGA code base that is optimized. Our sample code that is online is set up for general checkout of the electronics and to get customers familiar with the platform.

We have DLP Design Network partners that are familiar with the advanced Apps FPGA performance. Here is the link on ti.com to the various offerings: https://www.ti.com/dlp-chip/advanced-light-control/optics-electronics/optics-electronics.html

Please let us know what further help you need.

    Regards,

    Matt
