DLP3010LC: Need firmware update

Part Number: DLP3010LC
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DLPC3478, DLPA2005

Dear Expert

We found the problem using the firmware provided, so we need to modify it. Since our scene is light controlled, we are powered by lithium batteries. Leds are frequently turned on and off. When THE LED is turned on or off, the large current will pull down the whole voltage of the system, affecting the stability of our system.

Therefore, attachment 6 needs to be modified.

As shown in the figure, the yellow line is the LED open and close waveform, and the green line is the power supply required by our system. When LED is turned on or off, large current will pull down the entire voltage of the system, affecting the stability of the system.

DLP3010LC+DLPC3478+DLPA2005 is used for our products, and the reference is DLP3010LC EVM. Our use scenario is light control, trig-in mode of Internal Pattern mode.

1. The PIN mapping between DLPC3478 and DLP3010LC is Option 1.

2. Hardware LED connection is as follows: Pin37: blue; Pin38: green; Pin39: red. The default startup current in firmware 8.0.0 is 1498,1498,1498. Please change it to 600,600,600.

3. I2C address: use DLP3010LC EVM default, should be 36h.

4. UVLO setting range: 2.3V, default minimum. Deglitch Time: 100us.

5. Startup screen, see Figure start3.png.

6. Change the transient current limit Settings of the three leds. All three SWS are enabled. 3:0> Set this parameter to 1100 2538mA.
