DLP9000XUV: LVDS VCCI

Part Number: DLP9000XUV
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DLPC910

Hello

we are using the DLP9000XUV. The controller is DLPC910.

- The DLPC910 LVDS output is defined as LVDS-2.5V

- The DLP9000XUV LVDS input VCCI (Supply voltage for LVDS receivers) is defined as 3.45V typical.

I am trying to understand how the logic levels match.

  • Hello Moshe,

Good to hear from you again.

We have answered this previously for another party and I am looking for that response to give to you.  I will try to get back to this by COB Tuesday.

  • Moshe,

I found the response I was looking for, but it was for a slightly different platform.  I will need to consult with our system engineer on this, so It will be a day or two longer.  Sorry for the delay.

  • Moshe,

We had some icy weather here last week.  We have a meeting scheduled to discuss this internally on Wednesday the 9th.  Thank you for your continued patience on this question.

  • Moshe,

After speaking with the FPGA team we think there is some confusion between the input supply voltage to the receivers (VCCI) and the LVDS receiver levels.

The data sheet  for the DLP9000XUSV shows:

So the output defined for the DLPC910 is considered to be matched to the DMD.  The footnote references Figures 2, 3, & 4 that follow in the data sheet.

I hope this clears up the question.
