Hello User,
Welcome to the E2E forum and thank you for your interest in DLP technology!
DSI can support 854x480 resolution at 60 Hz with a single data lane and clock lane. The guide linked on this E2E post will have timings and setup instructions that should get your system in working order. Page 8 of the guide has the configuration for 854x480 at 60 Hz.

Austin
Hi Austin
Thanks for your reply.
Downloading the spec of DLPC3430 from the following link.
We can see "1-4 lanes, up to 470 Mbps lane speed" on Page 1.
Does it mean that every lane has the maximum rate of 470Mbps?
854x480x24x60 = 590,284,800 = 590Mbps. It is greater than 470 Mbps.
Is there anything wrong with my calculation?
Hello User,
Your calculation appears correct. The 854x480 resolution at 60 Hz configuration that we suggest is with an RGB 5-6-5 packet type (please refer to page 14 of the guide). In this case the bit rate would be 854x480x16x60 = 393,523,200 = 394 Mbps.
You will likely have to consider the tradeoff of using two or more DSI data lanes or limiting the size of the packet to 16 as opposed to 24.
Kind regards,
Austin
