Our customer is using DLP LightCrafter 6500 and having a problem. When the product is turned on and off, the existing pattern does not appear and there is no connection with the software. Before this problem occurred, they were using video mode and pattern mode alternately.

If they have not, have them remove the USB cable, remove power to the EVM, and reboot the computer.
After the computer is back up, start the software and plug in the EVM, and then the USB cable.
If the default display of patterns does not start, please check to see if the the "heartbeat" LED is flashing.
Check if the software now shows connected. If not please follow the procedure on page 56 of the Single DLPC900 EVM Guide [ DLPU101 ]:
If you want the default pattern set select the FW image dlp6500_6.0.0_OOB.img
