DLPDLCR471TPEVM: How to update bootloader using JTAG ?

Welcome to TI e2e forums and thanks for showing interest in DLP technology. Have you tried using the Bootloader update utility on the EVM page to program/up[date the bootloader?

I want to program bootloader to parellel nand flash on new board we made. 

Bootloader doesn't exist on nand flash. so, I think it's not possible to program bootloader with the utility.

In Document "DLPC6540 Programmer's Guide"

"4 System Boot
The DLP controller boots from the parallel flash connected at the PM_CSZ_0 line. There is no ROM code built
into the controller. It is mandatory to have parallel flash connected on the CS0 chip select line."

I think there is no way to program bootloader with empty nand flash. 

I found your chip has a JTAG, so, I want to program bootloader via JTAG.

So, we tried to flashing bootloader via J-Link which connected to J20 on the Reference Board.

but J-Link cannot connect your reference board because the IDCODE is not supported.

Do you have instructions or a procedure list to program the flash via JTAG ?

It is possible to flash through JTAG. Please allow the team until Wednesday to relay the procedure for doing so.
