DLP5533A-Q1: ERROR IN DLPC230 Control Program

Part Number: DLP5533A-Q1

After the Open LDI data obtained through DS90UB924 unbunding is transferred to DLPC230 chip, the source in DLPC230 Control Program cannot be normally cast after OLDI 1152*1152 is selected. The specific error is shown in the following figure.

Could you tell me why this happen?

  • Hello sss,

Have you externally validated or monitored/probed your OLDI signal to confirm that the data and clock are actually stable at the receiving end (at the DLPC230 input)? The error code you have reported indicates there may be a mismatch between the expected OLDI configuration and the actual data received. Does using a lower OLDI resolution, such as 1152x576 result in the same error, a different error, or working solution?

  • We are currently confirming its stability. Do you have any relevant method suggestions for confirming the stability?

We tried reducing the resolution to 1152*576, but still the same problem occurs.

Can TI provide related configuration parameters for lower resolutions?

  • Other than using a different and known to be working OLDI receiver, the only other way to confirm signal integrity is to use an oscilloscope and/or logic analyzer with video interface decoding.

You can modify the video configuration parameters using DLP Composer for Automotive? Do you already have mySecureSoftware access to this software? If not, I can enable you download access, and provide additional instructions on the configuration parameters. You will need to send me a private E2E message with your email so that I can add your email to the allowed user listing for DLP Composer.

  • Thank you for your help. We later found that there was a problem with our line sequence connection, and the problem has been solved. Thank you again for your help!
