DLP4500: is dlp compatible with fpga?

can we operate dlp4500 without using its module or controller. Or can we use fpga instead of the EVM. we just need to change the angle of dlp. AS we are using it for surface profiling.

Hello Preeti,

The DLP technology is chipset solution. The controller is required for reliable operation of DMDs. You need to use DLP4500 along with DLP350 controller.

Thankyou for resolving my query. I have another question, do I need to purchase the whole module or just the DLP350 controller. Because the module is quite expensive.

Hello User,

If you don't want to buy the EVM you can buy the controller, DMD, and PMIC. You would need to make or buy your own compatible optical engine, and electronics board, and peripherals.
