DLP230GP: Power consumption for the system

I got an inquiry for the power consumption of DLP230GP system.
Do you have estimation or measured data?
They got 4.8A/5V from optical module vender.
This LED current should be major of power, I think.
They calculated as follow (efficiency: 85%)
(4.8/0.85)*5
And other for DLPC, DLPA should be some additional.
I think basic idea should be correct.

Thank you for your support. This is for normal chip set for DLP230GP+DLPC3432+DLPA3000.

Honzawa-san,

You are correct in thinking the LED power is the primary consumer for the system. Please refer to Figure 14 and Figure 15 of the DLPA3000 datasheet to for the power consumption based on the LED current. This will be the majority of power taken from the DLPA3000.

Please see section 6.5 of of the DLPC3432 Datasheet for information on the DLPC power characteristics. Similar values for the DMD can be found in the DLP230GP Datasheet.
