Dear support team,

the DLP2021LEQ1EVM contains a Spartan-7 as part of the offering. Can you please provide the FPGA-design for this device?

Alternatively, if this is not possible, can you please provide some information of the contents of the design and what it is required to do.

Thanks for your post! We are going through final approvals to release the FPGA design on TI.com for a DLP2021-Q1, just as we've done for the DLP3021-Q1 DMD.

Is the FPGA-design for DLP3021-Q1 DMD similar in functionality and if yes, can you share that already?

Hi Martin,

The DLP2021-Q1 FPGA design should release to TI.com later this month. The DLP3021-Q1 design is already released to TI.com. It is available at this link: https://www.ti.com/lit/zip/dlpc135

The FPGA design is released with the Composer project and is labeled as "FPGA configuration" on TI.com. The files will release on the products folders (www.ti.com/product/dlp3021-q1 and www.ti.com/product/dlp2021-q1) under the "Software development" section of Design & development area.

Hi Brandon,

I had a look at the files for the DLPC135 and these only contain *.bin-files which likely are the binary configuration-files for the Spartan-7. Are also the source-files available for that design? This would typically be a Vivado project and a combination of *.vhd, *.v and potentially some *.xci files.

Hi Martin,

The FPGA is configured through the Composer project. We do not release the FPGA configuration on its own, as this contains properitiary information about the DMD.

Hi Brandon,

the intention from my side is to use a different FPGA than the Spartan-7. Is it possible to have an NDA-based discussion off the public forum? How do users of the DLP-modules go along that need to use a different FPGA than the one on the EVM-module?
