DLPC910: DLPC910 PROGRAM_B operation

Part Number: DLPC910

Hello

I would like to ask for some clarification on the DLPC910 PROGRAM_B pin.

- Per the datasheet it is output. but on Xilinx Virtex 5 (which the DLPC910 is based) this is an input pin.

- what is the correct functionality and direction of this pin?

  • Moshe,

Thank you for the good catch.  For all the Xilinx Virtex 5 FPGA's this should be listed as an input (per Xilinx).  This is the configuration control for loading the configuration from a PROM.  They also list it as active low which is consistent with the connection to the PROM CF_Z pin.  These changes will be added to the list of changes to be made when the next revision of the datasheet is created.

All the of the connection information is correct in the schematic and in the pin table of the data sheet.
