Hi Team,

I understand that the cost of DLP3030PGUQ1EVM is $6,500 from the E2E thread below while the DLP5530PGUQ1EVM cost $3,499 only. The DLP5530PGUQ1EVM has higher display resolution, higher light intensity and better features than DLP3030PGUQ1EVM but why is the latter more expensive than the former?

Hi Danilo,

Due to contracts with the manufacturer the prices were very different between these two EVMs and the cost is not indicative of performance. Since these were just EVMs and low volume, cost was not prioritized. This would not be indicative of costs in a production environment where normally the .3 would be cheaper than the .55.

To pick which one is best, you can compare the following specifications based on the customer's needs. You can also look at the optical specifications between both in the user guides and determine which may have the right specifications based on the customer's application.
