DLP4710: Replacement of DLP4710LC to DLP4710

Hi,

I am currently using DLP4710LC and DLPC3479, but availability of DLP4710LC is tight.
So is it possible to use DLP4710 (without LC) as an alternative?
What are some of the problems that could be issued by replacing them?

Hello UNA-san,

Welcome to DLP forum and thank you for your interest in DLP technology.

DLP4710LC DMD must be used with DLP3479 controller. The firmware checks for the valid device ID at boot up process. If incorrect device id or no connection is detected , the firmware will shut down.

Does this mean that the combination of DLP4710 (without LC) and DLPC3479 cannot be used?
DLPC3479 must always be used with DLP4710LC?
