so is follow below chart of green block, bake > 72hrs/125 deg?

Hello Lawrence,

The MSL is applicable only for surface mount ICs that are plastic encapsulated. ICs need to stay dry so they can be soldered. If they exceed their moisture level, they can be baked prior to soldering.

However, the DMD are not soldered so it doesn’t fall under the typical Moisture Sensitivity Level (MSL) guidelines. DMDs are unique in their storage requirements and those guidelines needs to be followed.

Hello Lawrence,

The DMDs are shipped in Moisture Barrier Bag (MBB) with desiccant. It recommend to store them as it is and open only when you are ready to install.

To store open devices, it is suggested to store them in a moderate environment in the sealed bag with desiccant in order to maintain MBB environment.
