The DLP300S and DLP301S digital micromirror devices (DMDs) are digitally controlled micro-opto-electromechanical system (MOEMS) spatial light modulator (SLM). They are suggested for 3D printing applications. The DMD is coupled with the 3D print controller DLPC1438 and the PMIC/LED driver to provide a complete system solution that enables fast, high resolution, reliable DLP 3D printers. The DLP300S DMD can be dedicated to DLPA2000/DLPA2005 PMIC/LED driver, and the DLP301S DMD can be dedicated to DLPA2000/DLPA2005 or DLPA3000/DLPA3005 PMIC/LED driver.
Also, the DLP301S includes an enhanced thermal package which allows to use higher illumination power while staying below the 40 ˚C maximum array temperature specification. This allows users to achieve higher curing power on the resin, especially in higher ambient temperature environments. The DLP301S can be capable of up to 50% higher power output depending on the optical design and thermal solution.
The DLP300S and DLP301S DMDs have been developed to provide warranted DMDs for 3D Printing with small size, low cost and sufficient lifetime.
