    The DLP3000 DMD and the EVM has been end of life for last couple of years. No new development is recommended on this platform.

    You may want to consider DLP2010LC or DLP301LC based platform for the handheld scanner.

    The application specific algorithms and software are available through our third-party partners.  The following are two such examples. Please reach out to them directly for your requirement:

    To build a 360 view for 3D model, you would need software /tool which can integrate different perspective into one model. I believe this firmware does not support that capability. I cannot confirm it because we have discontinued support for TIDU985A.

    TI does not have any such reference design DLP3010EVMLC or DLP4710LC ERMLC.  Please contact third-party solution providers listed in the post.

    We do not have such recommendation. You need to review the trigger signals available on those EVM and compare with camera trigger signal. In case, there is difference, you can design a simple interface circuitry to match voltage and current strength required by the camera.

    DLP3000 has been EOL. You are welcome to use it with DLP4500 EVM but we don't provide technical support for the 3D scanner software. The most efficient option would be to work with third-party in case you need technical assistance and access to algorithm.

    Thank you so much for the detailed information.

    Just one more query.

    The TIDA-00254 Test Results shows use of a DLP® LightCrafterTm 4500 EVM for point cloud generation.

    Just wanted to know if the software used for the same (i.e. the .exe file) can also support hand held scanning.
