DLPDLCR2000EVM: Difficulty reading the DLP2607 spi flash

A few questions: When you said you are using the DLP2607 software development guide, are you referring to the DLPC2607 Software Programmer's Guide? If so, which steps are you following? Can you clarify what occurs or does not occur when you try to read directly by Arduino? Have you been able to verify that you have communication with the Arduino by sending a different read command?

Thank you for your answer.

Yes, I used the DLPC2607 programmer's guide and referred to page 11. When I try to read the flash, the program says that it cannot find any data on the flash and the connection is via I2C.

To verify the I2C connection, can you send a command to read Input Source Select (Section 2.4.1.3 of the guide, page 15) to test that it returns the expected value?

In addition, can you share all of the I2C commands you are sending to read the flash, as well as any related code?

I did not manage to read the content of the flash but by mistake I loaded a writing program on it and my projector does not turn on. Would it be possible to have the flash initialized in order to turn on my projector ?

Hello Adja,

To reflash, an original flash image can be found using the Firmware Selector Tool and selecting for the DLPC2607.

If you do not currently have a method to flash the image, the alternative method requires a few tools: an 8-pin SOIC clip, a Cheetah dongle, and Flash Center software from TotalPhase.
