Hi. I'd like to ask if there's a dimension specification for the P1T WXGA DMD FPC flex cable? We disassembled this from a module for DLP4500NIR and want to make an adapter to mount the DMD. I suppose this is from TI not the 3rd party vendor? Thanks.

Hi Yujie,
Thanks for reaching out to the E2E forums with your question.
If you go to the following page under design and development, there is a download option for DMD mounting and interconnect information.
Please see if the attached file is what you are looking for.
Thanks,

Hi Alex.
Thanks for the info! Unfortunately this does not match the flex cable we have, where the rectangular cut is further away from the center. Is it possible to check the part number 620.0106.10 in your database? Or maybe you could confirm the cable is from a 3rd party vendor?
Thanks,
Yujie
Hi Yujie,
Do you have more information on the name or model of the EVM system you have?
Does it look like this?
Thanks,
Alex Chan
Hi Alex. It's actually a product from EKB: https://www.ekbtechnologies.com/e-store/dlp-lightcrafter-e4500-mkii-ir-laser?c=5cb86ca038d9a
I am asking them the same thing as well, but just wondering if TI would have this information. And yes the product looks similar.
Yujie
Hi Yujie,
Unfortunately I looked through what documentation we have online and I do not see any build of materials or cable documentation about the dmd flex cable.
Given EKB built that system and it is not the TI EVM, your best option like you already mentioned is to contact EKB. We don't support or have much documentation or design files from other manufacturers and third parties.
Thanks,
Alex Chan
