DLPDLCR471TPEVM: DLPDLCR471TPEVM can not be connected by DLP EVM GUI

Hi ,

I just got this DLPDLCR471TPEVM , power on and switch on, and it displayed the picture and also worked well with hdmi. However, there are several issues need your help.

Q1, DLP EVM GUI 3.1.0.7 could not connect to EVM , although WINDOW 10 can specify usb device is dlpc7540.

Q2： As above picture shows, the dlpc is 7540 , but in the official description it is dlpc6540.

Please help explain the above questions, thanks in advance.

Hello User,

Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

If you select the Advanced tab at the bottom left hand side of the GUI can you connect to your EVM?

Can you go to Commands -> Administrative -> Read Controller Info, and report what the GUI is saying? While in this mode, try some other commands out control the EVM.
