Hi,

Im trying to update flash firmware with the downloaded flash image from your website (DLP471TPEVM-FW), but it is not working. Im using DLP EVM GUI 3.1.0.7.

The error is "flash image file size exceeds the flash device capacity".

Hello Pauline,

Have you already tried selecting the DLPDLCR471TPEVM in the EVM selection page then tried flashing the EVM?

Hello Pauline,

Can you please confirm if you are using FW version 5.0? Have you saw this error when you fist received the EVM?

We will need to investigate and check if we can reproduce this on our side.

Hi,

Im using the firmware I downloaded yesterday from your website, it says FW4.5.0. If you have a newer one can you please provide it to me?

This error came up immediately when I received it yes.

Hi Pauline,

Thanks for pointing this out. Looks like the image available form ti.com is exceeding the the flash size(32MB), Hence the issue.

We will work on this and get it fixed in a few days.
