DLPC3479: Firmware disconnected Blue and Green LED by latest version

We already use that version, named 8.1.0_RED_LED_ONLY.

I guess latest version 8.1.1 includes the solution of the suddenly LED illumination turning off issue similar as following.

e2e.ti.com/.../dlpc3479-pattern_ready-signal-is-not-going-back-from-low-to-high-in-dlpc3479

Therefor I would like you to provide customized firmeware based on 8.1.1.

Hello Arai-san,

The 8.1.1 version has "Read System Temperature (D6h)" command enabled. This is the only difference between these two versions.

Could you please share more details about the problem you facing including details of the system configuration, patterns, frequency of failure etc.?

(Please don't confuse, the poster of this thread "Arai-san" is diffrent person from me. It's just a coinsidense!!)

We are using following chipsets.

• DLP4710LCFQL
• DLPC3479CZEZ
• DLPA3005DPFD

And use under these settings.

• Operation Mode：Internal Pattern Streaming Mode
• Trigger Out1： Disable
• Trigger Out2 ：Disable
• Trigger In : Enable / Active High
• Pattern Ready : Enable / Active High
• Internal Pattern Control：Start with Repeat indefinitely

To project LED, we put trigger signal with 50-100 Hz to DLPC3479 after checking Pattern Ready pulls up. But sometime this Pattern Ready suddenly pulls down and keeps it. We can't recover it except for power turn off/on again.

I would like to make sure again regarding these 2 points.

1. Is the imilar issue posted in previous thread already solved?

2. In this thread, similar issue was also posted with DLPC3478, Mayank-san answered that issue was solved. Isn't this solution reflected DLPC3479 firmware? or different issue?

Today I noticed the firmware of DLPC3470 RED_LED_ONLY was updated to 8.1.1.

It looks newer version, but does this include the solution of pattern ready problems?

Now we are testing with this newer version, and hope to solve this issue.

FYI, the only difference between DLPC347x RED_LED_ONLY v8.1.0 and v8.1.1 is that the thermistor processing is enabled. This new firmware is not include the solution of pattern ready problem.

Our team is still working on the release of including the pattern ready problem.
