The DLPR410 is the pre-programmed prom that you purchase from TI. We do not provide the *.mcs file for the LX30 (main controller) PROM. Nor can you read it back and save it.
On the TI sold EVM the LX30Fiz and it's associated PROM are not in the JTAG chain by default. At some point the 0 Ohm resistors were moved around so it would appear in the chain. The danger is that you can accidentally erase the main controller read protected program in the PROM.
You will need to purchase a new DLPR410 prom and have a local board shop remove the old one and mount the new one. Be aware that this is a 48 "pin" uBGA part. I believe the current version is DLPR410B, which should work just the same.
Hello again Jack,
Where did you get the board from? The default production EVM does not have this in the chain.
In the schematic for this board there are three resistors shown in the schematic:
To add it to the chain then it must be rewired as:
On the controller board these should be just a little above the DLPR410 prom chip.
