  • Hello User,

I want to clarify that the FPGA flash worked but the init_parallel had failed?

Can you go to the /dev folder and tell me if you have ether file i2c-1 or i2c-22? Can you confirm that the i2c.py script from the TI python support package is still present? Ideally you match the value inside the i2c.py script to 22 or 1. I am using 22.

    Thank you,

    John

  • Sorry that I didn't write you until now. i2C-0 and i2c-22 are present in dev. i2c.py I have in my DLP folder the same folder as init_paraller. I tried to change the number at i2c.py to 1,20,21,22 and parallel mod failed every single time.
    Thank you

  • Hello Simon,

What activity do you see on the D_HOST_IRQ LED? Ideally this would drive high for a moment during boot initialization and then drive low. Also, do you see any light output from the EVM?

Can you confirm that the I2C interface is enabled on the Raspberry Pi? You may need to go into the Raspberry Pi configuration to check.

    Regards,

    Austin

  • Hello Austin,

I filmed what the projector du during loading Firmware. Down in a video. When I initialized parallel mode then just the field and projector doesn't seem like something changed.

I2C is in the Raspberry Pi Configuration market as ON. I have one small hint I do not youse your private config.txt because mi Rasberi doesn't start whit them.

It starts but shows just a rectangle picture of color on the HDMI port and nothing else.

    Regards,

    Šimon

  • Hello Šimon,

Please try to use the default config.txt file.

The config file timings are compatible with the EVM init parallel mode. They are not typically compatible with monitors.

Please let us know if you have any problems.

    Regards,

    Lori

  • Thank you, for your support.
