I found another device (DLPLCR67EVM), but I am not sure if it needs additional parts to function. Could you please let me know if this device could project a user-defined pattern? If it does need additional components, could you please let me know what that would look like?

Hello Ray,

The DLPLCR67EVM DMD package requires DLPC900 dual controllers to function.

According to the research paper that you have shared, you wish to use this for medical imaging purpose. This system can be used for Advanced Light Control applications and can project user-defined patterns.

You can purchase the two needed EVMs on TI.com https://www.ti.com/tool/DLPLCR67EVM.

Please note that the DLPLCR67EVM includes the DLP670S DMD and cables to connect to the DLPLCRC900DEVM.
