hi 

I am a newbie that wants to start developing a laser application  using DLP4500NIR OR DLP650NIR , as for start i prefer to use lower cost setup , I couldn't find a kit for DLP4500NIR (HW&SW) , 

  1. if I develop on DLP4500NIR upgrading the system to DLP650NIR is easy or need to done for scratch ?
  2. is there a .net c# sdk?
  3. does the evaluation kit has sync option (trigger with the laser ?)
  4. i saw tilt angle is +/- 12 if i want to limit to +/-6 and use 8 bit , and using ROI , does the refresh rate could be increased ?

    Welcome to the E2E forum and thank you for your interest in DLP® technology.

    The DLP4500NIR has an EVM, the DLPNIRSCANEVM. However, I would not say that this is a low cost setup. Support software can be found on the DLPR350 page.

    This will not be a simple transition. The system level design between these two platforms differ significantly as can be seen comparing the application diagrams on their product pages.

    An SDK is available here , but there is no longer active support for the DLPC350 (the controller for the DLP4500NIR).

    Yes. Please see information in the DLP® NIRscan Evaluation Module User's Guide.

    The tilt angle cannot be adjusted. This is a result of the physical deigns of the DMD. What is meant by "ROI" here?
