DLPC3439: Input question of DLPC3439

Part Number: DLPC3439

Hi TI

I use DLPC3439 and FPGA to develop a 3D structured light project.

I`d like to know what input signal types are available of DLPC3439? Does it support MIPI input?

Would you like share some application successful story of
DLPC3439?

Many thanks~
  • Hi Cayden,

Thanks for your questions. A good place to start would be here for structured light 3D scanning.

It may be best to figure out the design parameters you may be aiming for and then narrow down to find the right DLP chipset combination for your application.

Here is a good reference design that uses a different controller instead of the dlpc3439.

For this design example, it doesn't use MIPI but the following with a usb camera. From my understanding most of our reference designs use a sync gpio trigger signal with the camera from our controller and then the camera video data is sent through USB to a PC or embedded processor for image processing.
