DLP9500: The failure issue for the DLP9500 DMD

Hi,

We use the DLP9500 DMD for our product and now there are some failure device when we load the program,

We consider the below reason for the issue and please advise how to improve the technology, thanks.

1. Temperature: Is there are any heat request, and we need to add the any heat design?

2. Power threshold: Please advise if we can set the power provide over the threshold, and this failure has any associated with the power threshold?

3. Stress: Please advise if the DLP9500 has different anisotropic stress between temperauture heat and DMD, the failure will be occur?

4. Or there are any more suggestion to solve this issue;

    Hello Zhang,

    There are several pieces of information that will be very helpful to assist with your inquiry:

    • Wavelength(s) used during operation
    • Illumination power density and overfill
    • Mechanical mounting design
    • Mechanical Assembly procedure

    This could be a result of mechanical overstress or temperature overstress that results in a broken seal.
