Hello,

My customer is developing a board using the DLP9000X.

When using DLP9000X, is it mandatory to use the Housing Mating Connector below?

Is it possible to mount the DLP9000X device directly on a PCB?

Hello JH,

Unfortunately it is not possible to mount a type A DMD (such as the DLP9000X) directly to a PCB board. The DMD cannot be soldered and requires an interposer as shown in the middle part shown in the diagram you put into your post.

Please follow the ICD diagrams shown at the end of the data sheet for the DLP9000/DLP9000X - DLP9000 Family of 0.9 WQXGA Type A DMDs
