I can't find where to buy the ref. DLP3000-C300REF, is it discontinued?

If so, what is its continuation? That is to say with which component could I replace it in the equipment?

The DLP3000 DMD has been END of life for serval years. No new development is recommended and supported on DLPC300 controller & DLP3000 DMD.

Please refer to "visible product" in the "3D scan & Machine vision" portfolio for available options.

The DLP2010LC DMD & DLPC3470 controller offers WVGA resolution in smaller size. The DLP3010LC DMD & DLPC3478 offer 720P resolution in similar size.

So can it be replaced by DLP2010LC DMD & DLPC3470 or DLP3010LC DMD & DLPC3478 without any software modifications?

Which of those 2 is more similar to the DLP3000?

Hello Inigo,

DLP2010LC & DLPC3470 chipset is replacement in terms of optical performance i..e you can the complete projection module. The DLP controller firmware is unique to specific controller. They cannot be interchanged.

It will require a new EE board design along with accompanying controller firmware.

The problem I want to solve is the following:

- The discontinued DLP3000-C300REF component melts the projector light with a frecuence of 1 year approx. (continued use) and until now we had spare parts. We have been changing the whole board.

If we want to change the whole board, what reference should I buy. Would ordering DLP2010LC DMD & DLPC3470 be enough? With this would the same set come with the mirror, light and PCB board? We want the change at the hardware level to be disconnecting and reconnecting cables only.

Attached is a picture of the whole board we have replaced the last few years.

About the development with the new firmware I think we could do it
