DLP2021LEQ1EVM: DLP2021LEWQ2EVM

Hello,
I have a DLP2021LEWQ1EVM kit with everything.
I installed everything on the pdf file all the drivers and the DLP Control Program and DLP Composer. On the connection tabs of the DLP Control I can connect to the SPI and change things but all i get is a static black image show up if i change it to anything other than the original car video. 
For the DLP Comp oser Program I can't get any sort of connection from my device to it the connection tab is blank and shows nothing can you help me?

    Hello User,

    How do you change test pattern in the DLP Control Program? It seems like you are able to display the default racecar video when you power up the EVM in Host mute mode. For changing test pattern, you will need to set the Video Start Address 1 and you can find the address for each test pattern in hex in the project directory folder -> Build -> BuildLog.html -> video offset information. Then, you need to set Video Configuration 1 and Video Control registers. Here is an example that you need to change the registers for displaying a static image:

    In the DLP Composer, you need to import the composer project by using File -> Import Project first. Then, you should be able to see the Flash Programming Interface tab under the Connection page.

    I don't know where the project directory folder is I don't know if I have it downloaded, also when I applied all of these changes the DLP just went blank and have to restart it by unplugging it and plugging it back up is there a phone number that we can contact you guys through?

    Hello Ahmed,

    If you are using the default project, you can find the "BuildLog_DLP2021_DGP_RGB.html" file in the DLP2021_DGP_RGB[2022-8-12].zip folder from DLP2021LEQ1EVM product page under DLPC153-DLP2021-Q1 Composer Project and FPGA Configuration. This folder also includes a composer project and a flash image file. 

    Please make sure you are in the Host mute mode when you changing the test pattern. You can also use python script to change display content, please refer to section 2.4 Select Display Content in the DLP2021LEQ1EVM User's Guide. 

    If you still see an issue, please try to re-program the EVM by using the default .img file. You need to follow the instructions in Section 4.1.7 Flash Programming in the DLP2021LEQ1EVM User's Guide.
