Hello,

short question we have tested the DLPDLCR2000EVM and we have relaized

if it is running for a long time the lense housing starts to meld. Any possibility to

switch off the LED if we don't use the DLP? We are looking for software or hardware

solution - thanks for your help  - Lucas

    Welcome to the E2E forums and we hope to assist you with your questions. 

    So to understand your question, are you looking to keep the EVM on but just turn off the LEDs?

    Do you have a host processor connected to the EVM such as a Beagle Bone black?

    If so you can send I2C commands to turn off or disable the LEDs. Please see the following programmers guide:

    Please see section 2.4.1.11 on LED driver control where you can disable the LEDs or change the LED current.
