Hello JD,
Could you advise what DMD you are utilizing when you are seeing this? We will try and replicate on our end.
Best,
Aaron
Hello JD,
Sorry about that, I overlooked that. My team and I will take a look and get back to you shortly!
Best,
Aaron
Hello JD,
Can you please share a screen capture of the GUI? We would want to check the 'Status' flags to narrow down the issue.
Thank you,
With regards,
Aishwarya
JD,
Notice that the 'Chipset Type' says DLP9000. But, I assume you are using DLP670S + dual DLPC900?
I would suggest you to reprogram the EVM with the boot-hold jumper installed. See instructions in section 4.10 Reprogram Controller Board for a Different Supported DMD of DLPC900 Dual EVM user guide.
Let us know if you still see issues.
Thank you,
With regards,
Aishwarya
JD,
I see that you have mentioned you are using DLP9000 with DLPC900 in the original question. But, the FW image you have selected is for DLP670S DMD.
Please select the right FW to match the DMD. The instructions from Section 4.10 still apply.
Thank you,
With regards,
Aishwarya
JD,
That could be a possibility. The same DLPC900 dual EVM controller supports a total of 3 DMDs.
However, this should not be an issue. The FW is available to download from TI.com. Kindly program the FW v6.3.0 for DLP9000 DMD using the instructions provided in the user manual.
Thank you,
With regards,
Aishwarya
4.10 (4) In the Firmware tab, click the Browse button. Search for the firmware in the TexasInstruments-DLP\ directory
that matches the target DMD. For the dual controller EVM this is either the DLP9000 or the DLP500YX.
Select either the primary and secondary OOB images or the primary and secondary custom firmware images
that match the target device. -----I can not find the file. Can you tell me the exact file name? When I clicked "Firmware " tab, the default file extension is .img. There is no such file under OOB
