Hi, I've been using the DLPDLCR4710EVM-G2 as a development platform for a while now, where it is effectively acting as second monitor./ Now I want to migrate to a system where the projector displays flash images on demand and I'm interested in going to a higher resolution. This may sound a little lazy but I'm getting lost in the detail, could you point me in the direction of something that might suit these needs ?

Hello User,

Please look at the EVM we have here: https://www.ti.com/tool/DLPDLCR471TPEVM

This is an EVM with a higher resolution than the EVM you are currently using. It will not be able to update flash images on demand. The images have to be added to the FW then reprogrammed to the unit.

Thanks John, if I wanted to stay with the same resolution but go for a programmable solution what would be the best solution ? I'm only dealing in a single colour or monochrome image projection.

Hello User,

The EVMs that use the DLPC34xx do not have the capability to reflash the splash images inside the firmware image. I do not have a recommendation for this question.
