  • Hello Anish,

This is a Windows error in the configuration with conflicting common libraries.  Please let us know which version of Windows and the specific build.

  • Anish,

Please look for vcredist installation from Microsoft.  We cannot provide it.  Try the 2010 version first.

Please let me know if that solves your issue.

    Fizix

  • I installed every version of vcredist from 2010 to 2015 but it didnt work. Please let me know any other way

  • Even DLPCR4500GUI is giving similar error, for your information

  • Anish,

Also try the 2008 version.  That is what most of these were written under, but 2010 should be compatible.

The unknown part here is that this may not work under Windows 11.  We simply don't know considering these were written in the XP/Win 7 days.

Please let me know how it goes.  It may also be possible to create a VM with Win 7.  Not ideal, but as a stop gap.

    Fizix,

  • Hi Fizix,

I tried 2008 and 2010 version but still the same problem. I got them installed in another laptop also, There too its the same problem. Will TI recompile withe latest version of windows.

    Thank you

  • Hello Anish,

It is not as simple as recompiling.  Many of the libraries and other components were from the 2010 period and would have to be overhauled to compile specifically for Windows 11.  I know that even for Windows 10 it took some work to get it to work with the older redistributables.

Run the sxstrace tool again and determine which libraries and versions are missing.  I suspect the list will be smaller now.

Then search MS to see if there are installers in addition to the vcredist ones that can be installed to provide the missing ones.
