Dear TI SupInquiry about Version History for DLPC3430/3435 Display Controllersport Team,

I am currently working with the DLPC3430 and DLPC3435 display controllers and have experience using firmware versions 1.0.X, 3.0.X, and 7.3.X. I have a few questions regarding  the version history:

  1. Could you please provide an overview of the major differences or improvements between these versions?
  2. Is there an official resource or webpage where the full version history or release notes for these firmware versions are documented? If so, could you share the URL?

Your guidance will greatly help in understanding the evolution of the firmware and making informed decisions for my current projects.

    Hello Aki,

    Please note that I have edited your response to remove references to NDA material. Regarding your questions, please see my response below:

    • While I do not have all of the previous release notes; v1.0.x was the initial official software release, v3.0.x may have seen some added features but everything after would have just been bug fixes.
    • There is not a place to view the full version history and changes, please note TI only recommends using the latest firmware for production as it is the most up to date and bug free release.
