here you can see we are using DMD to shoot light at specific location and suddenly we have one DMD pixel on and shooting light on unwanted area

Welcome back to the E2E forums and we hope to assist you with your questions.

Is this with the DLP650TEEVM kit paired with the DLPC7540EVM that you are testing with or is it your owm custom design? Did you notice this the very first time you powered up the system?

• Can you double check power on timings as mentioned in the DLPC7540 datasheet
• Can you also double check power rails and power rails for the DMD itself such as Vbias, Vreset, Voffset

Are the same pixels always being stuck on or the position of the pixels is random and changes?

No, It is our PCA based on the DLPC7540EVM so the others comment has no answer..... and No different random pixel

Thanks for the information, was your design previously verified or checked by anyone from TI side?

Please double check your power up timings and ensure all power rails and DMD voltage levels are stable and please feedback any further issues or questions in the E2E thread.

yes we do not have problem with using DMD in some DMD sometimes this occurs. have you encounter anything like this  in this model or others that mirror get stuck...

I will check further with the team to see if we have encountered issues like this.

What was the temperature you were testing at and was there a duration of testing you were performing? Also what kind of image were you using to display when you noticed this issue?

Do you have a batch number on these DMD's and do you know if they came from the same batch?
