Pattern Sequence mode - white color exposure timing.

Dear Sir/Madam,

Is it white color is all 3 LED turn on at the same time? For example I set 6 8bit images(120Hz) to project. It is still the same as 120Hz frame rate?

What is the current of the LED and what is the RGB intensity ratio?

Thanks.

  • Sean,

For the Lightcrafter 4500, the LED driver does support white by turning on all three LEDs at the same time. Look at section 3.2.4 in the Lightcrafter 4500 user's guide for details on how much current the LEDs can support and the intensity ratio required to produce white light. It gives the equations and instructions on how to set the current in the GUI.

To answer your frame rate question, for 8bit images, you should still be able to get 120Hz. See table 4-1 in the user's guide that I mentioned above. I assume that you are using pattern sequence mode.

    Hope this helps,
    Paul
  • Paul,

Thanks. That pretty much answer my doubt.
