What are the part number for the DLP CINEMA 2K and DLP CINEMA 4K chips?

Which distributor is selling them?

It looks like at least some of the distributors in the list (http://www.ti.com/general/docs/distributorinfo.ts

does not offer them.

Please note, there was a misunderstanding on my side:

ViALUX offer V-9001 VIS Module with 4M DMD Chip:

The resolution is >4M pixel (2650x1600, 0.9 WQXGA).

The 0.9 WQXGA DMD Chip we offer, is different to the 2k or 4k DMD Cinema Chips (2048x1080):

I was send here from the Texas instruments support and understood that the Texas instruments engineers are also reading here.

Hi Holger,

Yes, that is correct and Philipp's offerings were also correct. At this time DLP Enterpise and Cinema Display devices are not available to the broad market through distributors. I would suggest checking out the chipsets that Philipp mentioned above, or let me know a little more about your application and I can recommend another chipset, just be aware that the largest resolution available at this time is WQXGA (2560x1600).

Hi Trevor,

Thank you for your very fast answer.

Here at the Centre for Astro-Engineering of the Pontificia Universidad Católica in Santiago, Chile we are planning a DMD based optical spectrometer to observe multiple stars/galaxies at the same time.
From the literature, I saw that the Cinema 2K chip was extensively tested for this application.
Of course, if we could have larger DMD this might also be interesting.
So, I thought they are easily available.
But maybe there are already advance solution available.

I am looking very much forward to your recommendation.
