There seems to be some ways of the CRC16 calculation in general.

Hi Rossinag,

We use CRC-16-IBM reversed notation i.e., polynomial 0xA001 equation - X16 + X15 + X2 + 1 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Polynomial_representations_of_cyclic_redundancy_checks

Easiest way would be to use the look table based approach, you can google on this topic "crc16 table generation" you will find appnote or discussions regarding the same.
