How Do You Access DLPA2005 Registers Via DLPC150

The host only communicates with the DLP chip set over the I2C bus to the DLPC150 controller. However, the DLPC150 picks up the DLPA registers via its SPI_1 port. So how does the host read & write the DLPA registers? I do not see commands to do this in the DLPC150 Programmer's Guide.

Hi Eugene,

The host is not intended to read/write the DLPA registers because the DLPC150 controls them to manipulate the LED drivers for proper system illumination. This is part of the DLPC150 firmware. Section 8.2 of the datasheet has some details.

The registers for the DLPA2005 are detailed in the datasheet as well, section 7.5: www.ti.com/.../dlpa2005.pdf
