DLPA2005: Is two times reflow soldering possible?

Thank you for your support.

My customer may perform two times reflow soldering for DLPA2005 and DLPC3435 due to their mount process.

Can the two times reflow soldering be possible for these devices(DLPA2005 ,DLPC3435)?

Rossinag,

Can you describe your application further? If you are using two reflow solder processes for each component, you will generally want to apply protection to each device as you are heating the solder on its neighbor.

Thanks a lot for your comment.

I understood they were asking the reflow case for their printed circuit board front and back both sides.

After front side reflow DLPC3435/DLPA2005, they may need to do the reflow process for back side of the board for other parts.

In this case front side parts DLPC3435/DLPA2005 will get heated 2 times. Is this OK?

It is probably fine, although as I mentioned it might be a good idea to apply shielding to protect the side you are not soldering.
