DLPC900: DLP ALC SDK

Hi,

I am following the instructions for setting up the DLP ALC SDK, and when compiling the Machine Vision 4500 application, I keep getting this error:

It seems to be something with the FlyCapture program? Am I doing something wrong? I'm new to this, and need these applications to run our new Lightcrafter. Thank you so much and please let me know if you have any idea of what I should do!

    Hi Johanna,

    Thanks for your question and welcome to the forums. Sorry you're having difficulty building.

    I'm not quite clear on which system you'd like to build the machine vision design for. Are you trying to build it for the Lightcrafter 6500 or Lightcrafter 4500?

    Can I ask why you need to start from this level? If you're looking to just run the demo and not have to compile any code, take a look at either TIDA-00254 for the Lightcrafter 4500 or TIDA-00362 for the Lightcrafter 6500. Both have prebuilt code that will be easier for you to start with. You still need to install the flycapture SDK.

    Hi Paul,

    Thank you for the response! I was working on the Lightcrafter 6500, sorry for the typo. I have the base prebuilt code, and that will work for my immediate work, but I'm using this Lightcrafter for research, and so my PI would like me to go through building it in case we would like to add code in the future. I've installed the flycapture SDK, which is why I was confused what the problem was when I got to building the Machine Vision. Thanks again for the help!

    Glad you got it working Johanna. Make sure when you go through the build process that you select everything Lightcrafter 6500 related - you shouldn't have any errors.
