DLPC6401: DLPC6401 : keystoning

Hi,

Can the DLPC6401 controller be able to digitally adjust the horizontal keystone (-40 ° to + 40 °, in 1 ° increments) and the vertical keystone (-25 ° to + 25 ° in 1 ° increments)?

If not, is there another controller that can do it?

Hello Michel,

DLPC6401 allows the user to digitally compensate for distorted images when the projector is tilted up or down. Keystone correction is specified by the pitch angle between the optical axis and level ground. This is specified in degrees and in s7.8 format.

does another TI DLP controller exist for 2D keystonning? The DLPC6401 only works on 1D keystonning.

Can you give me some reference about 2D keystonnig controller? I have a project which I need to 2D keystonnig (Horizontal and vertical keystone)

Hi Michel,

Unfortunately our chipsets do not support 2D-Keystone.We are supporting 1D-Keystone.

Hi Navneet,
The BenQ SU754 Video projector use a 2-D keystone. A DLP TI is integrated into it.
Have you an idea of making 2-D keystone?
- is a video traetment on X-axis by a DSP or FPGA before projecting a movie by the DLP possible or not?

Hi Michel,

Which DLP chipset are they using ?

our chipsets do not support 2D-Keystone, so there might be a chance they are using there frontend for 2D keystone.
