DLPR350: How to control DLP from Matlab?

Hello, 

I am very new to this technology and we want to use it for imaging. We would like to control the DLP from MATLAB through SDK  but I have no clue where to start. I appreciate if someone can help me on this.

    Depending on the communication protocol for the system under interest, you will be able to communicate with the DLP system and, hence control it. Typically the specifics are indicated on the programmer's guide. Example for the DLPC350 Programmers Guide can be found under www.ti.com/.../dlpu010g.pdf

    Thanks for reply.
    Actually we would like to control the pattern sequence of DMD through Matlab in a microscope system.
    The camera and microscope can be tuned with our written Matlab code. I am currently reading the program guid, it seems very complicated though.
    My question is how I am able to control the pattern, apart from the DLP GUI? I appreciate if you could give me some tips in detail.

    Thanks for your reply with more specific information regarding your approach…
    The DMD pattern can be controlled via commands and values sent via the supported communication protocol in your system. Aside from the patterns, you will have control in other areas: e.g. LED brightness, front end source, image orientation, etc. Let’s put as example the following case: If the system supports I2C communication, you will need to use this protocol via Matlab. I2C commands and values can be referenced to its respective programmer’s guide.
