Hi all,

I had some questions about the control software of DLPLCRC410EVM +DLPLCR65NEVM.

1. Test pattern. I can not use the internal test pattern after loading some pictures, even if I tick the test pattern enable box from the test patterns menu. How can I make the test pattern work again? Or do I need to do other things after tick the enable box?

2. Loop in control command. I choose the 'loop ' function to work. But a run-time error: 381 occurred, and then the program closed automatically. I think maybe the order of the script is wrong, but I have no idea about the right script.

3. .bin file loading. I tried to load the test D4100_GUI_FPGA.bin from the GUI, but a run-time error: 481 occurred.

4. Labview support. Can I use labview to control this product? If yes, where I can get the labview kit.

What is HM? Can you please explain a little?

Another question, to stop operation, it is better to float the DMD mirrors before powering off by pressing SW3. My question is should I keep pressing SW3 when sliding SW4 to OFF, and then powering off, or just pressing SW3 once, and then sliding SW4, powering off?

Hi Mei,

Apps FPGA version is not correct.
You need to stop any patterns running from GUI, press SW3 only once, then SW4 OFF.

When did you buy this EVM? You will need to update the apps fpga using Xilinx platform cable to new bin file available in GUI installation directory
C:\Program Files (x86)\D4100Explorer\D4100_GUI_FPGA.bin

Hi ykc,

I bought it two or three weeks ago. The last modified date of D4100_GUI_FPGA.bin was 02 August 2018, there is no xilinx platform cable accompanying with the DMD product. BTW, I download the software from your website, does it matter about the software version?

I tried to load the test D4100_GUI_FPGA.bin from the GUI with the USB cable, but a run-time error: 481 occurred.

Looks like your apps version is correct. I am able to reproduce this. I will get back to you tomorrow.

This was a bug in GUI code. I have fixed this. Attached is a test build of GUI. Please uninstall old one and install this one.

Hi ykc,

When I stop the running patterns, and after loosing the SW3 button, I still can see the previous running pattern on the DMD, is this right? I upload one bmp image with half balck(0) and half white(1) on the DMD, and there is only one reflect light (this light is the same with that when the DMD is on float state), but I can see the pattern on the DMD. Do you have an idea about this? Or I should open a new post?
